The Spring International Film Festival continues at the Springfield Free Public Library on Thursday, April 18th.
The library will screen Bye Bye Germany (2017) at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. In 1946 Frankfurt, David Bermann (Moritz Bleibtreu) and his Jewish friends have escaped the Nazi regime and are now dreaming of leaving for America. But how will they get the money in these tough post-war times? In German with English subtitles. Directed by Sam Garbarski. Also starring Antje Traue, Tim Seyfi, Mark Ivanir and Anatole Taubmann. 102 minutes. Not rated.
The last film in this series will be Back to Burgundy (2017) at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. on May 16.
