Thanks to the New Jersey State Library, Springfield Library patrons will have access to Brainfuse, an online learning suite of tools, including live tutoring and homework help, from February 1 through June 15 of 2021.
Brainfuse tutors are trained to provide real time assistance to students, not by providing the answers, but by helping students to master a problem’s underlying concepts. Tutoring help is available in Spanish as well as English for all academic subjects. Live writing help is also available as well as a writer’s lab that gives students the opportunity to submit a paper and receive back a thoughtful and instructive analysis of their writing within 24 hours.
Brainfuse also provides a wide range of standardize test prep, including the following:
- The New SAT
- The New GED
- TASC & HiSet (GED alternative tests)
- US Citizen Test
- College Placement test prep
In addition to live help, Brainfuse also includes an extensive library of videos and practice tests in a wide variety of academic subjects.
Please make sure to have your library card barcode ready as you will be prompted to enter it in order to gain access to the Brainfuse suite of services.
Don’t have a Springfield Library card? If you are a current resident of Springfield, go to Online Registration and you will be assigned a barcode number within 48 hours that will enable you to use all of the library’s many online resources, including access to an extensive collection of e-books and e-audiobooks as well as streaming video and music.
